安东尼奥·凡·戴克，比利时画家，佛兰德人，生于1599年3月22日，卒于1641年12月9日。巴洛克风格画派画家，之后逐渐成为了英国皇室画家中的领军人物。安东尼奥·凡·戴克的画作具有在英国国内具有很大的影响力。影响了之后150多年的画家的创作风格。

安东尼奥·凡·戴克出生在安特卫普一个富商的家庭，从小就表现出了绘画方面飞天赋。安安东尼奥·凡·戴克的启蒙老师是画家亨德克·凡·拜利。擅长创作以圣经为主题的画作，有时候，也创作一些神话题材的作品。娴熟的绘画技巧，杰出的运用色彩光线的能力，使得他成为了艺术大师。安东尼奥·凡·戴克被认为是水彩画和蚀刻画的创始人。

The Lomellini Family,1626-1627

凡·戴克为17世纪有名的佛兰得斯画家，亦是美术史上善用色彩者，1599年出生于安特卫普，少年时就表现出美术上的天份。1632年英皇Charles Ⅰ授与他骑士爵位，1635年画出了他的绝作Charles Ⅰ in Hunting Dress(Louvre, Paris)，他建立了法兰得斯艺术及英国美术学校的基础，1641死于伦敦。

虽然凡·戴克学习宗教和神话题材出身，但他最主要的成就是画肖像画。在意大利的七年他逐渐形成了自己的风格。其风格形成也受益于鲁本斯，鲁本斯作品中的华丽风格无疑给了他一定的影响，但他在绘画技法上谨慎而灵活，不同于鲁本斯的色彩，依然保持着他自己的绘画风格，最终使他成为一个典型的巴洛克肖像画家。凡·戴克的肖像画对英国的雷诺兹、庚斯博罗、劳伦斯等人都有影响，可以说他影响了英国整整一代的画家，甚至到了19世纪，这种影响仍然存在。
