亨利·埃德蒙·克罗斯

法国画家

亨利·埃德蒙·克罗斯 (1856-1910年)，他的真正名字叫德拉克洛瓦，出生于杜埃，逝于勒瓦尔省的圣克莱尔，是1884年独立派画家协会的创始人之一。

克罗斯是位冷静的和有条理的思想家，又是一位奇特的和混乱的幻想家，在整个新印象派中，色调最生动，色阶最耀眼的是克罗斯。至于他的点彩派技巧，则有时具有抽象的特点。克罗斯在创作中要求做到对于自然有一定的独立性。这种意志与明确的装饰性，与极其强烈的色彩感觉结合在一起，又使他成为野兽主义的先驱之一。
